What's new

  • Game Manager no longer crashes from Avalonia’s recycled null rows. Confirmed by opening it: process stayed alive with zero new crash events.
  • Settings now opens at 520×390 and supports vertical scrolling, preventing clipped options.
  • OST installation now detects running Steam and gives clear instructions to use Steam → Exit, wait for the tray icon to disappear, then retry.
  • Access-denied results also recommend running TOST as administrator if Steam is already closed.

  • Archive sizes, duplicate files, destinations, and filenames are validated.

Upgrade notes

Windows users should use TOST-win-Setup.exe. Portable users should extract the complete new ZIP into a fresh folder instead of replacing only the executable.

Linux support is new in this release. Available packages include the portable archive, AppImage, and Arch package.

TOST v1.0.1

This update improves TOST's launch behavior and removes a duplicate menu command.

Changes

  • Prevented multiple TOST instances from opening
  • Reopening TOST now shows and focuses the existing floating window
  • Double-clicking the floating icon now restarts Steam
  • Double-clicking the system tray icon still restores TOST
  • Removed the duplicate Select Local Package menu command
  • Install / Repair OpenSteamTool remains the package-import command
  • Added a small delta update from v1.0.0

TOST is currently unsigned, so Windows SmartScreen may display an unknown-publisher warning.
