v0.5.4
Second Wind 0.5.4
- Places inside buildings on Forever read again. A beta update gave some buildings new ids (the Apothecarium, Stormwind Keep, the Grim Guzzler and a few others), and a debrief recorded inside one of them could show a bare code instead of its place. Every such place reads as before, and later game updates can no longer do this.
v0.5.3
- Added Spanish for Spain and Latin America throughout the interface and debriefs, with regional game names and number formats. This is a first translation, and corrections are welcome.
- Fixed creature types staying in an old language after changing the client language. Older saved reports are repaired automatically, without clearing your history.
- Updated game names and location data.
v0.5.2
World-data sharing now skips player-controlled creatures, including summoned companions that could be mistaken for wild creatures.
Previously collected NPC observations will be refreshed after this update. Collected quest text, dialogue and loot stay saved.
Creature types and families now reach the shared database correctly. Player sightings are kept separately from confirmed spawn points.
v0.5.1
Second Wind 0.5.1
- Debriefs are saved by the game's ids alone and named in your client's language at each login.
- What you had: the tools ready are matched to your casts by their spell, any rank. A debrief read in another language no longer calls an untraced tool used.
- Every tool's item is named in every language, TBC Anniversary's own included.
- Older debriefs written in English now read their places in your language on any client.
v0.5.0
Second Wind 0.5.0
- German: Second Wind now speaks German, with the game's own names for your spells, items and foes. It is a first translation, so corrections are welcome on GitHub.
- Every client's language: other clients get the game's own names for your foes, spells, items and places in their language, with the rest in English.
- Debriefs follow your language: a debrief keeps the game's ids for its places, foes, spells, tools and creature types. Switch your client's language and every debrief reads in the new one.
- Forever's death recap: a foe's name no longer carries the extra word the recap adds after it ("Snow Leopard Nub"), so one kind of foe is one foe in your patterns.
- Share what you see: an option on the welcome page and in the settings helps the addons keep up with Forever's new content. Ravenpost, a small free app, sends what the game tells you once you sign in with Battle.net in it.
- Fix: a debuff no cure removes no longer breaks the start of a fight.
v0.4.1
Second Wind 0.4.1
- Fix: no more error when a fight starts. A debuff that no potion or bandage removes, such as being dazed, stopped Second Wind with a Lua error as a fight began, and that fight's debrief lost what you had ready. Second Wind now passes over such debuffs and keeps going.
v0.4.0
Second Wind 0.4.0
- Second Wind in French. With a French client, every debrief, lesson, pattern and page is in French, and so are the settings, the welcome page and the chat lines. Other clients still get English.
- Fix: your lifelines on any client. Second Wind looked up your emergency spells by their English names, so on a French, German or Spanish client your guards, holds and ways out never counted as ready or unused. It now finds them by their ids, in every language.
- Fix: foes on a French client. Their kind's icon, the critter check before a pull and, on Forever, the foes the damage meter names now work in French too.
- More portraits. Every creature that can attack you now has its portrait, the other faction's guards included, and Forever's own new creatures are found by name.
- Fix: the welcome page's text no longer runs past its window.
v0.3.0
Second Wind 0.3.0
- Chat lines always show. The line after a close call or a death no longer has an off switch. The alert after a death keeps its own.
v0.2.0
Second Wind 0.2.0
- The debrief, redone. Foes, hits and lifelines are laid out like the other books' pages. A foe's portrait sits in a ring that shows its rank (elites gold, rares silver, bosses rose), and spells and items sit in the game's own slots.
- The health chart has its own heading and box, with more room and a taller plot. The low point is labelled, and a short legend explains the threshold, the hits that mattered and lost control. What you used and the foes that joined show as their icons and faces under it.
- Figures on Patterns and Lifelines. Both tabs start with a few key figures.
- Empty tabs. A tab with nothing to show yet says what will appear there.
- The death alert now lines up with the game's other alerts instead of covering them.
- An AddOns category. Second Wind has its own category in the game's addon list.
v0.1.4
Second Wind 0.1.4
- The debrief, laid out as an entry. Its card opens on the foe that did the most harm, its portrait in a ring; the lessons are set apart; each foe has its row, with the creature's own portrait (as its unit frame shows it; a player's class crest), its name in the colour of its level against yours, its rank on its ring and its share of the harm; each blow, heal and killing blow has its spell's icon and its amount; what you had shows as icons with their counts. Hover any of them for the game's own tooltip.
- The health chart, redrawn. Your threshold is a red danger zone; your health a stepped line, red where it falls into it; your lowest point marked and labelled (a death, a skull). Under it, a timeline of what happened: the icon of each thing you used, each foe's portrait as it joined, the hits that mattered, the stretches out of your control. Hover it for the moment's health and events.
- Lifelines. The third page (once "What you carry") lists each potion, bandage, cure, guard and way out with its icon, count and state, greyed while on cooldown, and an empty slot for each kind you carry none of.
/wind lifelines(carryandkitstill work). - Patterns as bars: each trait's share of your close calls beside how common it is in all your fights; the foes met more than once with their portraits; the tools left unused with their icons.
- World of Warcraft: Forever: a foe the damage meter names only now gets its portrait and kind (the creatures you see are remembered by name, account-wide). The card no longer shows a section on what the game hides.
