Dual Screen v1.0
Dual-screen build of The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap for the AYN Thor.
The bottom panel is a live map, quest status and touch inventory; the top
screen is just the game.
You supply your own ROM. No game data ships here — the panel decodes the
map artwork, menu chrome, item icons and font from your own copy at runtime.
What's on the panel
- Map — follow cam over Hyrule, ZOOM out to the whole kingdom, tap a region
to open the game's own enlarged map of it. Windcrest warps show as pins. - Dungeon — the real automap: floor plaques, explored rooms, Link's
position, and the small-key count beside your rupees. - Quest — the pause menu's quest screen reflowed for a square panel. Tap the
kinstone bag or the technique scroll to open those lists. - Items — tap a ring to arm it, then tap an item to equip that slot.
- Settings — hide the top HUD (the panel takes over vitals), true widescreen,
plus the port-wide toggles the desktop F8 menu owns.
Notes
- Widescreen is off by default; turn it on in the panel's settings. Expect
occasional sprite flicker at the screen edges while walking and a brief black
edge during room transitions — both are known limits of the port's widescreen. - Built on Project Picori and
Raekwon1603/tmc-android. GPL-3.0. - The APK is debug-signed; Android will warn on install.
Dual Screen v0.1
Dual-screen build of The Minish Cap for the AYN Thor. The bottom panel is a
live map, quest status and touch inventory; the top screen is just the game.
You supply your own ROM. Put baserom.gba (USA) next to the app's data
folder as the port normally expects — no game data ships here.
What's on the panel
- Map — follow cam, ZOOM out to the whole kingdom, tap a region to open the
game's own enlarged map of it. Windcrest warps show as pins.
All of it is decoded from your ROM at runtime — map art, menu chrome, icons and
font alike. Nothing is baked into the APK.
Notes
- Widescreen is off by default; turn it on in the panel's settings. Expect
occasional sprite flicker at the screen edges while walking, and a brief black
edge during room transitions — both are known limits of the port's widescreen. - Built on Project Picori and
