Change detection now works when the Laravel app lives in a subdirectory of its git repository — a monorepo — not only when the app root and the repo root are the same directory. Every command that reads a diff (detect-changes, impact, affected-tests, benchmark) is covered. This release also closes a latent affected-tests gap around unreadable base revisions.

Added

• Monorepo / nested-app support. Richter replays git (git diff, git show, git status) from the Laravel project root, which until now had to be the git repository root. When the app is nested — e.g. packages/api/ inside a larger repo — those git paths resolved against the repo root instead of the app, and change detection came back empty. Richter now re-roots them, so a nested app is analysed correctly. At the repo root the behavior is byte-for-byte identical, so the common case is unchanged.

Fixed

• A modification whose previous revision can't be read is no longer mistaken for new (additive) code. When a changed file's base revision could not be read — a git show failure, or the mis-rooted path the monorepo case exposed — the file's members were classified as newly added, i.e. no-impact, which could silently narrow affected-tests selection. Such a change now fails closed to a coarse, impactful classification. Only a genuinely new file (added against no base — its diff starts from /dev/null) stays additive, as before.

Internal

• Richter's own change-impact accuracy is now self-testable: a test runs a real, unfaked richter:benchmark replay against a throwaway git repository, at both the repo-root and nested-app layouts — the machinery that was previously only exercised with faked git.
• Suite grows to 725 tests / 1,736 assertions, including adversarial guards for the re-rooting (a nested untracked file still forces an undetermined result; a sibling package's file is ignored) and for the unreadable-base classification (both the removed-line and addition-only shapes).
