Utility to make a SEApp (Node.JS Single Executable Application) with little fuss.

  • Auto-generates SEA config and rest of process flow to generate the .EXE.

Just run: node makeSea.js yourApp.js to generate yourApp.exe.

  • If you've assets to bundle, run: node makeSea.js -i yourAsset1.txt -i yourAsset2.zip yourApp.js
  • See README for details.

This version:

  • Upgrade to Node.JS 22.6.0.1+.
  • Assets need not be in working directory; can specify path to asset elsewhere.
  • Embeds npm, postject and node executable for SEApp. They will self-extract if not found in working folder.
    • As makeSea.exe is now too big for Git, it is attached here instead in a ZIP archive.
