e-Handkerchief guide

e-Handkerchief is a mobile-first, offline-first PWA for tying knots: quick, location-aware reminders you capture by voice, photo, video or text. Everything is stored on your device; Google Drive backup and voice transcription are optional extras.

For users

• Getting started: install the app, the home-icon shortcut and the quick-capture notification.
• Capturing knots: location, photos and videos, audio files, Mic, Dictate and transcription.
• Organising knots: the Knots list, search, the Calendar, checking off, Random.
• Sharing: share one knot or several.
• Cloud backup: Google Drive sync, Merge with Cloud, conflict review, Manage backups.
• Troubleshooting: every message the app can show, and what to do about it.

For people running their own copy

• Self-hosting: build, deploy to GitHub Pages, the two optional Cloudflare Workers, Google OAuth, forks and custom domains.
