Usage

/config ticket button <channel>

  • channel: The text channel to send the ticket button to.

Example:

/config ticket button channel:123456

Permissions

  • Chatot: View Channel, Create Private Threads, Send Messages | Send Messages in Threads
  • Users: Ban Members

Description

Summary: Posts a button for users to open a help ticket.

This command sends a button to the designated channel that users can press to open a help ticket with staff. Regardless of where the button is located, it will open a thread off your designated thread channel, selected with /config ticket settings. This command is useful if you want to relocate or post another button for users to click without having to respecify your settings. If you ever update your settings, all buttons will automatically use the new values.

A server may have any number of buttons to open a ticket. Adding another button will not do anything to the existing buttons.

If this is your first time setting up the system, Chatot will present you with a modal for your to specify your settings. See config ticket settings for a description of those values.

Reminder: If you had previously setup a custom ticket embed message with edit, you will need to do it again on any new buttons posted with this command. Each embed will be posted with the default values.
