Download aMuleRemote-macOS.dmg from the latest release:

- Open the downloaded
.dmg. - In the window that appears, drag the aMule Remote icon onto the Applications folder next to it.
- Eject the disk image and launch aMule Remote from Launchpad or
/Applications.
The app is signed with a Developer ID and notarized by Apple: it opens right away, with no Gatekeeper warning, no "right-click → Open" and no keychain password prompt. It requires an Apple Silicon Mac (M1 or later) running macOS 14 or later.
Every release also ships aMuleRemote-macOS.zip (same app, same signature) for those who prefer a zip.
brew install --cask sidimam/tap/amule-remoteThe cask installs the very same notarized DMG into /Applications; update it with brew upgrade --cask amule-remote. The tap lives at sidimam/homebrew-tap.
The sandboxed Mac build is on the same App Store page as the iPhone/iPad app (universal purchase): one download, every Apple device.

Version 1.2 adds a native visionOS app. It is available on the App Store in the countries where Apple Vision Pro is sold (United States, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Australia, South Korea, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Taiwan). Search for "aMule Remote" from the headset, or open the App Store page.
Version 1.3 adds a native tvOS app (Apple TV HD and Apple TV 4K running tvOS 17 or later). Open the App Store on the Apple TV and search for "aMule Remote"; it is part of the same universal purchase. Tip: turn on iCloud sync on your iPhone first — the Apple TV then offers to restore your server profiles, so you never type an address or a password with the remote. See Apple TV.
The app includes a demo mode: on the connection screen tap "Try the demo mode" (or enter DEMO as host and DEMO as password). On Apple Vision Pro the demo button is in the top-right corner of the connection window; on Apple TV it sits under the Connect button. The app fills up with sample data, without any server: handy to explore the interface before configuring amuled.
Since 1.4 the first launch shows a short guided introduction that also offers to restore your server profiles from an iCloud backup and to allow notifications; skip it if you prefer, everything is available later in the app settings.
