v1.0.1

This release improves worker safety, document-processing reliability, and Paperless API efficiency.

Changes

  • Added a singleton worker lock to prevent multiple OCR worker processes from running concurrently within the same container.
  • Added a temporary paddle_processing tag while a document is actively being processed.
  • Documents already marked as processing are skipped.
  • Processing tags are cleaned up when OCR or final document updates fail.
  • Fixed Paperless document filtering to use the correct tag-exclusion query.
  • PAPERLESS_REPROCESS=true now reprocesses completed documents while still skipping documents currently being processed.
  • Renamed the completed-document tag configuration to PAPERLESS_PROCESSED_TAG, with backward compatibility for PAPERLESS_TRACKING_TAG.
  • Reduced Paperless API response size by requesting only the fields required by the worker:
    • id
    • title
    • tags
  • Improved HTTP error handling for document and tag updates.
  • Added tests covering worker locking, document claiming, filtering, reprocessing, cleanup, and failure scenarios.

Note

These changes originated from the investigation of issue #23.

The originally reported duplicate OCR execution was not conclusively reproduced. However, the investigation identified several concurrency and failure-handling safeguards that improve worker robustness.
