ellmercodex v0.2.0
Cambios importantes
codex_logout()y vuelve a iniciar sesión. - El callback pasó a
http://127.0.0.1:1455/callback(configurable conELLMERCODEX_CALLBACK_PORT).
- GitHub Actions: matrices latest y minimum aprobadas.
ellmercodex v0.1.63
Highlights
- Supports
ellmer0.5.0 and later through a Model/Provider adapter with runtime checks for the Chat contracts this integration needs. Unsupported provider token counting and file management fail clearly before a request. - Documents a single-process Linux VM deployment that retains OAuth credentials across restarts using
httr21.3.0 or later and a persistent cache volume. - Adds offline cache lifecycle coverage and CI checks for both the minimum and latest supported
ellmerversions.
See NEWS.md for details.
ellmercodex v0.1.62
Highlights
- Removed obsolete private OAuth callback/PKCE code.
- Removed legacy ellmer structured-stream repair helpers superseded by the httr2 and ellmer compatibility paths.
- Updated tests and internal documentation; no public API behavior changes.
See NEWS.md for the full changelog.
ellmercodex v0.1.61
Replaced the macOS/OS-keyring credential backend with httr2's encrypted OAuth cache. Cached credentials are stored under the user-level ellmercodex cache and refreshed without Keychain prompts.
Also includes streamed reasoning-summary fixes, account-backed model discovery and reasoning-effort validation, improved usage handling, expanded compatibility coverage, and updated authentication documentation.
ellmercodex v0.1.6
Highlights:
- Selects the default model from the authenticated account catalog and validates advertised reasoning effort.
- Preserves omitted usage values as unknown and consolidates tool execution in the version-gated compatibility layer.
- Expands opt-in live acceptance coverage and documents the remaining undocumented transport risk; no Codex CLI runtime dependency is introduced.
ellmercodex v0.1.5
Fixed Codex Responses streaming history duplication by correlating streamed text deltas with provider item IDs and merging completed message items once. Preserved terminal-only message output and removed duplicate message content from rich content streaming. Added regression coverage and a full maintainer verification runner for offline and live chat, streaming, structured, async, tool, cancellation, multimodal, and model-discovery workflows.
ellmercodex v0.1.4
Highlights
- Expanded public API documentation, conditions, side effects, return values, and compatibility boundaries.
- Improved the getting-started vignette and package guidance.
- Included the ellmer compatibility and streaming-test updates.
Validation
- GitHub R-CMD-check: passed.
- Local
R CMD check --as-cran --no-manual: 0 errors, 0 warnings, 1 expected “New submission” NOTE.
The attached tarball is the CRAN-style source package.
ellmercodex v0.1.3
ellmercodex v0.1.3 is an experimental prerelease targeting ellmer 0.4.2 exactly.
Highlights:
- One version-gated compatibility seam backed by ellmer's Chat lifecycle.
- Public Chat methods for normal, streaming, async, structured, rich-content, tool-calling, cancellation, cloning, history, echo, usage, cost, duration, and finish metadata.
- Clone-safe credentials with refresh-token rotation and persistent updates across request paths.
- Ordered conversion of text, tool calls, images, PDFs, reasoning, terminal output, and unknown content.
Known blockers:
- ellmer parallel/batch helpers are explicitly unavailable because the Codex subscription transport is stream-only and has no compatible OpenAI Batch API.
- The transport is undocumented and uses an isolated private ellmer compatibility seam.
- The full regression suite, R CMD check, and live API checks were not run for this release.
This release must not be treated as stable. See docs/ellmer-chat-interface.md for the complete capability matrix and follow-up commands.
ellmercodex v0.1.2
Release v0.1.2 adds asynchronous Chat methods, async tool modes and callbacks, cancellation-controller support, and image/PDF content preservation while retaining the Codex compatibility layer's experimental status. Known gaps are documented in the README: exact echo="all" semantics, full streamed/tool metadata, rich output inside the custom tool loop, batch/parallel helpers, and provider-native tools.
