Third release candidate for 3.3.0 — Java 17+, Jakarta EE 11 (Servlet 6.1), Jetty 12, Tomcat 11, and Spring Boot 4.x.

Changes since 3.3.0-RC2

  • Add public @ConditionalOnSiteMeshIntegration and @ConditionalOnSiteMeshWrapMode annotations so framework integrations can use the same configuration binding conditions as the Spring Boot starter.
  • Read and write offline files as UTF-8 by default in FileSystemDirectory and InMemoryDirectory, including CLI and Ant usage. Constructors accepting an explicit charset retain that behavior.
  • Update the Micronaut example platform to 5.2.0.
  • Gate artifact publication on all CI test jobs, including newer JDKs, Spring Boot on Jetty, and example smoke tests.

The core org.sitemesh:sitemesh artifact does not register a servlet filter. The Spring Boot starter defaults to view-resolver integration; servlet filter integration is opt-in.
