Envy 1.8.3 — A Vault That Syncs Whole
Your vault now syncs whole, and folders got friendlier.
- Attachments and Trash are visible folders now. The old hidden
.attachmentsand per-folder.trashwere invisible to cloud sync clients that skip dot-folders — notes synced everywhere while images and deleted notes stayed stranded on one machine. Both now live in plainAttachments/andTrash/folders at the Index root that travel with your vault. Envy migrates everything automatically on first launch;![[image]]references keep working untouched. Trash mirrors your folder structure inside, so restore still puts things back exactly where they came from. - Every folder has a color from the moment it exists — no setup. Hover a note's folder dot to see the folder's name; right-click the dot (or name chip) to pick the color you want, same as a tag. The Settings Folder Colors section is retired — the marker is the interface.
- Move many notes at once — multi-select, right-click → Move N Notes to: any folder, the Index root, or New Folder… for the whole selection in one go.
- Fixed: notes with
:or/in their titles refused to move to a folder at all. Moving one now also rewrites the vault's[[links]]if the filename form differs, so nothing breaks.
