hlabud: HLA analysis in R

hlabud is an R package that provides methods to retrieve sequence alignment data from IMGTHLA and prepare the data for further analysis such as HLA allele sequence comparison, amino acid-level association analysis, and low-dimensional embedding. hlabud also provides direct access to HLA allele frequency information from AFND.
