Accent Translations with GetText

When using Accent for translations of gettext po files, which is what Elixir/Phoenix use, Accent has an issue if the first lines of the file aren't an empty pair with language statement. In order for Accent to work, what should the start of the file look like?

Make sure your po files start with

msgid ""
msgstr ""
"Language: en\n"

where the language code on the 3rd line matches that of the file.
