AI Posture v1.1.3

@snapsynapse snapsynapse released this 24 Sep 03:41
v1.1.3
3e62c94

Reframes AI Posture as a supporting framework for reasoning about combined AI readiness, following the September 22, 2026 portfolio decision. AI Posture is no longer treated as a standalone product.

  • Homepage, assessment, papers, llms.txt, and spec-page metadata now lead with the framework and no longer describe a unified governance or maturity score. The homepage's primary action now reads the framework.
  • The pre-assessment is labelled an experimental estimator, with a caveat that its likelihood tables are expert-elicited and uncalibrated.
  • The papers page dates the June 2026 whitepaper as the original design rationale.
  • The privacy page now states that analytics loads only on the pre-assessment page. No change to the data collected.
  • Adds a non-normative worked example applying the framework to the steward declaration.
  • Aligns repository docs, including INTENT v0.2.0 with its Operating posture and Reopen criteria.
  • Specification remains v1.1.1. No scoring, rubric, schema, criteria, steward declaration, or assistant guide changes.

Validation: build and 118 tests passed; the GitHub Pages deploy succeeded, and the live homepage shows the new copy. Browser visual/accessibility review remains unverified.

@snapsynapse snapsynapse released this 06 Sep 02:48
v1.1.2
bce193e

Publishes PAICE.work PBC’s project-scoped steward self-declaration for aiposture.org, with linked evidence and ongoing regulatory review through EveryAILaw and the PAICE Legal Graph.

  • People 1, Infrastructure 3, Regulation 1; aggregate Perceiving. Next review: December 5, 2026.
  • Aligns the homepage, documentation, and agent discovery surfaces; updates the assistant guide to 1.0.1.
  • Specification remains v1.1.1. No scoring, rubric, schema, or normative requirement changes.

Validation: build, 116 tests, declaration validation, and whitespace checks passed. Browser visual/accessibility review remains unverified. This is a self-assertion, not independent certification.

@snapsynapse snapsynapse released this 01 Sep 21:19

AI Posture v1.1.1

This is the first formal GitHub release after v1.0.0. It captures the declaration and wire-format work introduced across the v1.1 line, plus the v1.1.1 provider-neutral routing correction.

Highlights

  • Publishes the decentralized /.well-known/ai-posture.json declaration format, JSON Schema, validation tooling, and declaration viewer.
  • Adds the W3C EARL v0 profile, stable per-vector criterion IRIs, and a zero-dependency validator.
  • Removes implicit routing from assessment results to steward products. Results now point to neutral, published AI Posture criterion and evidence pages.
  • Labels implementation examples as non-normative, removes unshipped maintenance and commercial-offering promises, and corrects the obsolete implementation link.
  • Ensures GitHub Pages serves the framework profile and assistant-guide artifacts under /.well-known/.

Compatibility

No scoring rule, likelihood, prior, aggregation rule, declaration shape, or criterion meaning changes in v1.1.1.

Verification

  • npm run build completed with generated outputs synchronized.
  • npm test passed: 113 tests.
  • GitHub Pages deployed and live surfaces were verified at the tagged head.

See CHANGELOG.md for the detailed record.

AI Posture v1.0.0

Choose a tag to compare

@snapsynapse snapsynapse released this 02 Jun 05:08

First stable release. The specification is promoted to v1.0.0, locking the three-vector set (People, Infrastructure, Regulation). This is a stability declaration only. No scoring, likelihood, prior, or aggregation changes.

Highlights

  • Spec, product, site, and agent surfaces aligned to v1.0.0.
  • Legal copy finalized. Beta notices removed, effective 2026-05-29.
  • Analytics QA closed. Memory-only PostHog, no PII in event payloads.
  • Historical pre-assessment PRD archived. ROADMAP.md is the source of truth for remaining work.
  • New Papers section: the whitepaper "One Number You Can Defend" with PDF, video summary, and audio overview, plus an executive-brief companion linking to PAICE.foundation.
  • Release-hygiene and papers test suites added. 61 tests, all green.

See CHANGELOG.md for full notes.

AI Posture v0.4.1

Choose a tag to compare

@snapsynapse snapsynapse released this 30 May 18:04

AI Posture v0.4.1

Patch hardening release for AI Posture. No scoring, likelihood, prior, aggregation-rule, or SPEC.md semantic changes. SPEC.md remains v0.3.2.

Changes

  • Replaced permissive artifact-delivery payload checks with strict server-side validation matching the published estimate-result schema shape.
  • Added regression coverage for spoofed type strings, wrong source URLs, missing estimate notices, HTML-like level names, malformed vectors, malformed posteriors, invalid calendar dates, class-instance payloads, duplicate constraining vectors, and runtime-generated artifact compatibility.
  • Corrected all-vectors-N/A JSON artifact aggregate naming to use schema-valid N/A.
  • Corrected sitemap lastmod drift for assessment, privacy, and terms surfaces.
  • Corrected stale privacy and terms copy around live on-request JSON artifact delivery.
  • Published the missing assistant-guide-v1.0.0 release to satisfy the assistant-guide manifest immutable release URL.

Verification

  • npm test at repo root: 65/65 passing.
  • npm test in worker/: 13/13 passing.
  • git diff --check: clean.
  • Fanout schema-bypass lane found invalid calendar date and class-instance validator bypasses; both were fixed and covered by tests.
  • Fanout false-positive lane accepted completed, scoped, and all-N/A runtime-generated artifacts.
  • Agent-surface lane verified assistant-guide mirror identity, manifest hash and byte count, llms.txt, framework profile, and sitemap discovery locally.
  • Release-integrity lane verified v0.4.1 package/changelog alignment and missing pre-release tags before publication.

Residual Risks

  • The validator intentionally follows the current published JSON Schema, which bounds posterior entries but does not require posterior arrays to sum to 1.
  • The validator intentionally follows the current published JSON Schema, which does not require level and level_name to correspond by mapping.
