0.5.3 — Formation mesh multi-speaker support
What's Changed
Fixes multi-speaker Formation/mesh setups. Every mesh member relays the others' messages, so the integration previously latched onto the first node in the list and could show the wrong now-playing track, artwork, and volume. It now selects the node matching the configured host and filters WebSocket messages to that speaker.
- Restore
get_version()that was lost in a 0.5.x merge (fixes config flow). - Select the mesh node matching this host instead of
nodes[0]. - Only handle WebSocket messages from this speaker's own node (via
sendingNodeID, tile keys, andsinkNodeIDs). - Fetch volume and current track once the WebSocket is connected; clear state when nothing is playing.

Full Changelog: v0.5.2...v0.5.3
0.5.2 — Single audio output delay entity
Simplifies the audio output delay to a single number entity with 1 ms steps (text input), giving exact +1/−1 control over audioOutputDelay.
The separate 10 ms slider introduced in 0.5.1 is removed — one entity, full precision, same port-80 StreamSDK setting. Persists across power cycles.
0.5.1 — Audio output delay fine input
Adds a fine-grained audio output delay input alongside the slider.
Home Assistant number entities can only be a slider or a text box, so this release exposes the single audioOutputDelay setting as two entities that stay in sync:
- Audio Output Delay — coarse slider, 10 ms steps (unchanged)
- Audio Output Delay (Fine) — text input, 1 ms steps, for exact +1/−1 tuning
Use the slider to get close, then the fine input to nail the exact value. Same setting, same port-80 StreamSDK API, persists across power cycles.
0.5.0 — Audio output delay (AirPlay 2 sync)
Adds an Audio Output Delay number entity that fixes AirPlay 2 group sync on the Zeppelin.
If your Zeppelin plays a fixed amount ahead of your other speakers in a mixed-brand AirPlay 2 group, the speaker over-reports its output latency and the sender ships audio too early. This release exposes the speaker's undocumented audioOutputDelay setting as a slider in Home Assistant: a negative value lowers the reported latency so the sender delays the audio and it lands back in sync.
What's new
- Audio Output Delay number entity (ms, −1000 to +1000, step 10) under the Zeppelin device (Configuration category)
- The current value is read from the speaker at startup and shown in Home Assistant — it survives power cycles
- Talks to the speaker's local StreamSDK HTTP API on port 80 (
/api/getDataand/api/setData), separate from the StateD API on port 42425
Tuning
Set the slider to around −150 ms, stop and restart playback in your AirPlay 2 group, and bisect by ear in 10 ms steps. Set to 0 to revert to factory behaviour. Only fixes a consistent fixed offset — not random Wi-Fi drift.
