Release v4.3
Added
- A Replay panel on the profile page, above Multiplayer. A profile
either records what is played or plays a recording back, and the
panel folds away when it does neither - Demos are kept in a "replays" folder inside the profile's own folder,
beside its port config and its saves, whether or not the port was
given a config of its own. What is in there is listed for playback,
newest first, and a demo from anywhere else can be browsed for - Source ports ZDL4 lists have first class support and dynamically
get their command line arguments adjusted. For user imported ports
the launch arguments can be adjusted from the profiles page - MBF and Doom Legacy record and play back inside DOSBox: the replays
folder is mounted as a drive of its own. A name DOS cannot spell is
said before the launch rather than by it, as is a demo that has been
deleted since it was picked and a recording about to write over one - Supported source ports get a new Saves section in the profiles where
a save game can be directly launched - {savefile} stands for the save the profile is set to load. A
profile writing its own command line is handed it along with the
rest - {replaydir} stands for the profile's replays folder. A profile
writing its own command line is handed it along with the rest - PrBoom+ and Boom are now part of the ZDL4 engine roster with first
class support - Better support for custom images. Profiles now show custom packs'
images as a thumbnail when possible, when not falls back to the
selected base game's art
Changed
- The engines page only refreshes the source ports on application start
instead of every time the page is opened since GitHub is rate limited
per hour. Check again is still there to force it.
Fixed
- Badges ran off the edge of a library card when a profile had more to
say than the card had room for. What fits is drawn, and the rest is
a count on the end with the words a hover away - A source port fetched for the first time did not report completion
and got stuck at 100%. - Check again did not update already installed ports
- Was not possible to add a directory as an add-on which some ports'
mods rely on
