ClearFrame v0.3.1 improves local-video cleanup previews and reliability.

  • Switch instantly between the original and edited frame.
  • Changing the region, method or frame time clears stale previews.
  • Embedded cover art is ignored, and previews use the same video stream as exports.
  • Non-square-pixel videos display with correct proportions and selection placement.
  • Invalid preview times are rejected and export-location errors stay in the editor.

Validation: 68 core checks, 20 offline interface checks, subprocess checks and 16 local synthetic-media checks passed. Full manual desktop interaction remains unverified.

Windows setup

Download and extract the Windows x64 ZIP, run Get-Tools.ps1 in PowerShell 7, then open ClearFrame.exe. Dependencies are downloaded separately from pinned upstream releases and verified with SHA-256.

Requires Windows 10/11 x64 and .NET Framework 4.7.2+. This build is unsigned. The ZIP's SHA-256 checksum is attached.

The editor exports a separate MP4 and keeps the original. Logo blending estimates covered pixels and can leave artifacts; moving-logo tracking and HDR editing are not included.
