ClearFrame v0.4.0
ClearFrame v0.4.0 adds playlist selection, queue pausing and thumbnail download cards.
- Choose playlist: preview the first 200 entries and choose individual videos. Reported unavailable entries cannot be selected. Current quality, format, subtitles, speed limit and destination apply to added picks.
- Pause after current: finish the active attempt, leave remaining jobs queued, and resume when ready. Stop still cancels immediately.
- Richer cards: thumbnails, duration, estimated source size, speed/ETA details and per-stream progress. Missing images fall back to format badges.
Validation: 24 new feature checks, 68 core checks, 46 existing offline interface checks, 12 filesystem checks, subprocess checks and a two-process application restart check passed locally. The restart check preserves queue status, partial bytes and retry staging identity; it does not perform a live download or open a desktop window.
Automatic approval review rejected the live playlist-and-thumbnail test with “blocked by policy.” Live lookup, thumbnail delivery and full manual desktop/network resume remain unverified. Playlists beyond the first 200 entries and account-required playlists are not supported.
Windows setup
Extract the Windows x64 ZIP, run Get-Tools.ps1 in PowerShell 7, then open ClearFrame.exe. Dependencies are downloaded separately from pinned upstream releases and verified with SHA-256. Existing users can extract into a new folder and run setup; history remains in %LOCALAPPDATA%\ClearFrame.
Requires Windows 10/11 x64 and .NET Framework 4.7.2+. The application is unsigned. A SHA-256 checksum is attached.
Thumbnail cards request images from YouTube's i.ytimg.com host, including up to 200 saved library entries on startup. Images are cached in memory, and failed requests do not prevent downloading.
See the changelog, user guide and interface preview. Preview images use sample entries.
