ClearFrame v0.6.0
Download ClearFrame for Windows
Open ClearFrame-Setup.exe, click Install, and stay connected to the internet while setup gets the video tools ready. Then open ClearFrame from the Start menu. No terminal commands or administrator account are needed.
New in v0.6.0
- A Windows setup wizard with automatic verified tool downloads, Start menu shortcut, optional desktop shortcut, repair through reinstallation, and removal through Windows Settings.
- A stable download link you can share with friends. Future releases keep the same link.
- Scheduled downloads: choose a local date/time up to seven days ahead. ClearFrame must remain open; you can change or cancel the schedule. Closing the app or starting manually cancels it.
- Audio-language selection from the available tracks in each checked video. Saves the choice per download and reports unavailable or incompatible languages without silently substituting another.
- Clearer installation help and missing-tool repair messages.
Includes the existing clip exports, 15 subtitle-language choices, library sorting, playlist picker, batch links, MP3/M4A audio and local video cleanup. Clips download the full source before local re-encoding; video clips support SDR only.
Requirements and notes
Windows 10 version 1809+ or Windows 11 on an Intel/AMD 64-bit PC, with .NET Framework 4.7.2+. Setup downloads approximately 150 MB; allow 1.5 GB of free space. Close ClearFrame before updating. Updates and removal keep your downloaded media and local history. Reinstallation restores the release's pinned tool versions.
The application and installer are unsigned, so Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning. Download only from this repository. Do not disable antivirus protection.
Automated installation, reinstallation, app-in-use protection, tool execution and removal checks pass, alongside the scheduling and existing offline suites. Full manual click-through and live YouTube clip/alternate-language downloads remain unverified.
Advanced users may choose the portable ZIP and run Get-Tools.ps1 in PowerShell 7. Third-party tools are fetched from pinned upstream releases; they are not embedded in the setup file. ClearFrame code is MIT licensed; external tools retain their own licenses.
