Integer fieldtype fills with zero if null/blank

I'm on beta9, with integer inside a grid inside a bard.

I want my integer field to be empty (null)

The UI allows you to set the values to null (blank), and it saves correctly as well.  But if you refresh the edit page the UI will fill all empty integer fields with zero's.
