Summary

This release covers the 4.3.0, 4.4.0, and 4.5.0 public branch cuts since the last published GitHub release, v4.2.0.

Major/Breaking changes

  • No breaking API changes are documented. --update-batch-size remains supported as an alias for --max-in-flight.
  • Review log collection settings: nginx now emits redacted access logs to container stdout. Request paths containing SDK keys and all query strings are omitted from those logs.

Minor changes

  • Added beta proxy/cache support for signed ID list file downloads, including Range requests, and beta support for config-spec deltas with protobuf-backed assembly.
  • Added startup cache warmup, --max-in-flight concurrency control, per-key retry backoff, and outbound HTTP client tuning.
  • Added optional OAuth (Microsoft Entra) authentication for Redis.
  • Refreshes the Redis backup cache TTL while the config remains unchanged.
  • Redacts SDK keys from Rocket error logs.
  • Adds a config-spec freshness gauge and support for delta temporality in OTLP metric exports.
