✨ New features

  • Choose how quickly your wallet locks (#905)

    • You can now set your own auto-lock time in Settings → Security — anywhere from 1 minute to 24 hours (default 12 hours). After that idle time, Freighter asks for your password or biometrics again. It also drops you back on the exact screen you were using after you unlock, instead of resetting you to the home screen. This matches how the browser extension behaves.

  • Swap to a new token (#879)

    • You can now swap a token you hold for almost any Stellar asset — including assets you don't hold yet — all in one flow. Search by name or pick from popular tokens, and if a trustline is needed it's added for you automatically. Destinations are run through Blockaid's safety checks.

🛠 Improvements

  • Sharper, more private browser previews (#896)

    • Tab thumbnails in the Discover browser are now encrypted on your device. That let us remove the old blur and show higher-quality previews — a win for both privacy and looks.

  • More reliable pricing (#917)

    • Token prices now come from a more reliable source, and should see improved availability.

  • Cleaner Send screen (#899)

    • The asset picker when sending now shows a single tidy loading spinner, and empty "Collectibles" sections no longer appear when you don't own any.

  • Clearer error messages (#890)

    • When something goes wrong during account setup or login, you now see a friendly message ("Couldn't complete account setup, please try again") instead of cryptic technical text. Full details still go to our monitoring so we can fix issues faster.

🐛 Fixes

  • Correct incoming-payment history (#893) — Payments sent to your address via a "muxed" address are now correctly shown as received instead of being mislabeled.

  • Federated addresses work again (#909) — Sending to name*domain.com style addresses works again (a regression from a library update).

  • Accurate trade/offer details (#911) — Buy/sell offers on the transaction-details screen now show the right amounts and prices (as an exchange rate, not a dollar amount) with clearer labels.

  • No more white flash between screens (#912) — Fixed a brief white flicker at the screen edges when moving between screens.

  • Review screen no longer overflows (#897) — Long error messages on the transaction review screen now fit on screen, and Cancel is always available.

  • Face ID icon polish (#914) — Fixed square corners on the blurred Face ID icon during biometrics setup (iOS).
