Software for Mössbauer spectrum fitting and analysis — load, fold, simulate and fit ⁵⁷Fe Mössbauer spectra. Current stable version: v5.0.0.

Fitbauer reproduces NORMOS and reads and writes its .JOB files. The physics
has been contrasted on 411 synthetic spectra and on 564 real fits made with the
original program: in 355 of 503 comparable jobs (71 %) it matches or improves on
its reduced χ². See NORMOS (.JOB) and the
validation reports.
