@VladaHarbour good fix — the old code matched cells by position in the row, which breaks when rows start at different columns. matching by grid position is the right call, and the spec backs it up.
no bugs found. the bot comment about double-advancing columns is wrong — the property it mentions doesn't exist in the code.
tests look good overall. one small gap on the row encoder skip — left an inline comment.
