Use environmentMatchGlobs to run ~484 super-editor test files in node environment instead of happy-dom. These files (super-converter, commands, helpers, parts, document-api-adapters, utils) are pure logic tests with no DOM dependency. Reduces cumulative environment setup time by 45% (242s → 132s).
Replace vitest with bun:test for @superdoc/document-api (41 test files, 1034 tests). Changes: - Replace vitest imports with bun:test - Replace vi.fn() with mock() - Add bun test script to package.json - Remove document-api from vitest workspace - Add bun test step to root test script All 1034 tests pass in 830ms (vs ~2.6s+ under vitest).

Migrate layout-engine/{layout-engine,style-engine,geometry-utils},
word-layout, and shared/{common,font-utils,locale-utils,url-validation}
from vitest to bun:test.
1116 tests across 33 files, all passing. Combined runtime: ~226ms.
Changes per package:
- Replace vitest imports with bun:test
- Replace vi.fn() with mock(), vi.spyOn with spyOn
- Remove vi.restoreAllMocks() (bun handles cleanup)
- Update package.json test scripts
- Remove packages from vitest workspace

- Keep updateDOMAttributes and catchAllSchema tests on happy-dom since they use document.createElement and DOM globals - Always run bun tests regardless of args passed to pnpm test
Add explicit happy-dom overrides for tests that use document globals, DOMParser, HTML processing, or Editor views before the catch-all node environment globs. Fixes CI failures from: - deleteSelection (document.getSelection) - insertContent integration (Editor with DOM) - contentProcessor, createNodeFromContent, getHTMLFromFragment, htmlSanitizer (DOM/DOMParser required) - insert-structured-wrapper (HTML content insertion) - tiff-converter (document.createElement)
Bun's File constructor appends ;charset=utf-8 to text MIME types. Use toStartWith instead of toBe for text/plain assertions.

Summary
Why bun?
Vitest spends ~90% of its time on setup — loading files, transforming TypeScript, spinning up fake browser environments — before running a single test. Only 10% is actual testing.
Bun understands TypeScript natively, so it skips all that setup. Same tests, no overhead.
What changed
1. Fixed the 4 slowest test files
These tests were reloading every module from scratch before each test case — like restarting the app between every check. We restructured them to load once and reuse:

~484 test files test pure logic (data transforms, math, validation) but were running inside a simulated browser. Turning that off cut browser setup time by 45%.
3. Moved 9 packages to bun test
Packages with simple tests (no browser needed, no complex mocking) were straightforward to migrate:
Packages: document-api, layout-engine (core, style-engine, geometry-utils), word-layout, shared (common, font-utils, locale-utils, url-validation)
The API is nearly identical —
