Storage Network

Storage Core

The Storage Core is the single owner of one network's items, typed resources, installed stations, processing work, and identity. Storage Units add type capacity; terminals and buses add access.

A packed Core uses a one-time server recovery token. Place that exact Core item to restore the same network record; copying the token cannot copy the contents.

If an owned, unplaced packed Core is lost, run:

/auto_storage recover_core

This reissues the latest owned and unclaimed recovery. Data lost before the recovery system existed cannot be reconstructed.

Connections

Every Core, Unit, Terminal, and Bus connects through full faces. Keep the Core and every required route block in loaded chunks. One network may contain only one Core.

Storage Units

Finite units limit the number of distinct exact identities, not the count of items already stored.

  • T1: copper cell
  • T2: iron brace
  • T3: gold/lapis lattice
  • T4: diamond/quartz cross
  • T5: prismarine/ender halo
  • T6: netherite/amethyst crown

Removing capacity never deletes existing contents, but a new type cannot enter while the network is over capacity. Creative Storage Unit provides unlimited type capacity and has no survival recipe.

Safe moving

Use Auto Storage's Wrench or a compatible c:tools/wrench item.

  • Right-click a directional Bus to rotate it.
  • Sneak-right-click a network block to dismantle it through the safe loot path.

Keep the dropped packed Core identifiable and safe before rebuilding.

Connected casing

Fusion 1.2.12 is optional. When installed, adjacent Auto Storage blocks share connected outer casing while their center symbols remain distinct. Casing lines show physical adjacency only; they do not prove capacity, a loaded Core, or a conflict-free network.
