v0.4.0
Native Windows Codex execution and bounded transport lifecycle support.
- Add native Windows process/pipe ownership for Exec, App Server stdio and CodexMCP, including executable/environment resolution and joined descendant cleanup.
- Add stdio input completion, frame bounds and joined termination observations; bound buffering and request correlation while retaining duplex progress.
- Adopt the exact
computer-mcp/swift-sdktransport release0.13.0-computer-mcp.1for Windows stdio and complete POSIX frame serialization.
The new platform capability and public Stdio lifecycle API advance the minor version during 0.x. All eleven public products retain their macOS 14 boundary. Windows x86_64 builds pass for eight products. NIO, Vapor and Hummingbird transports remain unavailable with their pinned upstream dependencies; URLSession compilation does not establish Windows WebSocket runtime acceptance. See the product support matrix.
Validation: 333 tests / 52 suites, both macOS build systems and hosted Swift toolchains, 20 constrained-pool cases, schema/dependency/API/format checks and eleven DocC targets. Native Windows process ownership passes 28 tests in debug and release; the shipping MCP graph passes 2 tests in each configuration with Codex 0.139.0. Native macOS App Server tests pass 3 cases with Codex 0.154.0 and legacy MCP passes 2 with 0.139.0. The complete Windows product audit retains its three unsupported-dependency failures.
These are library, native process and protocol checks. They do not establish authenticated model execution or a downstream signed plugin/App release. Codex executables and credentials are not included. Published validation metadata binds source, dependency identity and evidence scope.
