Releases: swiftify-org/swiftify

v0.18.0

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 21 Oct 20:19
39ee08b

you need spotify premium and a client id from your own spotify developer app, the first launch walks you through it.

install

macos (apple silicon, macos 14.4 or newer)

open swiftify-0.17.1-macos-arm64.dmg and drag swiftify into applications. its signed ad hoc, so the first launch gets blocked, open it anyway from system settings › privacy & security, or run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Swiftify.app.

windows

unzip swiftify-0.17.1-windows-x86_64.zip anywhere and run bin\swiftify.exe. its not signed, so smartscreen might warn you, click "more info" and then "run anyway".

linux (x86_64)

it brings its own qt, but needs alsa and libsecret, which pretty much every desktop already has.

mkdir -p ~/.local/opt ~/.local/bin
tar -xzf swiftify-0.17.1-linux-x86_64.tar.gz -C ~/.local/opt
ln -sf ~/.local/opt/swiftify-0.17.1-linux-x86_64/bin/swiftify ~/.local/bin/swiftify
cp -r ~/.local/opt/swiftify-0.17.1-linux-x86_64/share/{applications,icons} ~/.local/share/

or just unpack it anywhere and run bin/swiftify.

recent changes

  • added fullscreen to immersive mode (#99)
  • added the repository to swiftify-org

Thank you so much for your amazing work on this program @shredos67 :)
