Repository navigation
GitBob 0.6.0
GitBob 0.6.0 brings GitKraken-style menus, icons throughout, and committing just the files you pick. Still an early alpha: keep your usual backups and pushes.
What's new
- Full right-click menus on commits, local branches and remote branches (in the graph and the sidebar):
- Commits: checkout, worktree, branch, cherry pick, rebase onto, reset, revert, copy SHA or link, save as patch, compare with your working directory, tag or annotated tag.
- On your current branch: edit a commit message, drop a commit, move commits up or down, interactive rebase from there (Undo can take any of it back).
- Local branches: pull or push even when not checked out, fast-forward, merge either way, rebase onto, worktree, rename, delete, copy links, hide, solo.
- Remote branches: rebase / interactive rebase onto, merge, checkout, worktree, delete on the server.
- Commit only selected files: ⌘/Ctrl-click or Shift-click files in Working changes, then stage, unstage, discard, stash, or Commit N selected files; everything else stays as it was.
- Icons: toolbar buttons with icons, sidebar section and branch icons, repository icons on tabs.
- Fixes: long menus fit in small windows, a clear "Showing only … · Show all" bar while the graph is filtered, menu items no longer go missing after rewriting history, and copying works even when the window isn't focused.
