@tarek369 tarek369 released this 23 Oct 09:06

Note

Superseded by the automatic Nightly builds. Nightlies use a new signing key, so uninstall this alpha once before installing one.

First public alpha of KytyPS5 Android: PS5 games on Android ARM64 (FEXCore JIT + Vulkan on Mesa Turnip / Adreno).

Warning

Experimental. Developed and tested on one device only (OnePlus Pad 3, Adreno 830, 16 GB). Other Adreno devices are untested. Use only game dumps you own.

Download

  • KytyPS5-Android-v0.1.0-alpha.apk: install it and open KytyPS5. The Mainline Turnip v32 GPU driver (by whitebelyash) is bundled and selected by default.
  • SHA-256: d63e81a68844717ae99ff3b392e9760c4e1efaa5d783bca5501ef49a31a3492c
  • This build is debug-signed (it is an alpha). Later alpha builds will install over it.

What runs (OnePlus Pad 3)

Game State Speed
Vampire Survivors Playable ~60 fps
Totally Reliable Delivery Service Nearly playable 28–35 fps
Astro Bot Runs, slow 13–17 fps; 16–20 fps with the Performance mode preset
Commandos: Origins (UE5) Boots, very slow ~2 fps (turn on the res50 preset)

Highlights

  • Launcher: game library (folders and .exfat images), on-screen DualSense controls and a GPU driver picker.
  • Per-game presets, off by default:
    • Astro Bot Performance mode: 720p render size plus half-rate lighting, +14–20%.
    • Commandos res50: UE5 at 50% screen percentage, ~2.3× faster.
  • Delivery Service speed-ups, default on Android: stream-path fixes for small CPU-written buffers plus the SRT memo in auto mode.
  • Mobile GPU work: shader translation tuned for Adreno/Turnip, half-rate ray-traced lighting with edge re-trace, and a multi-threaded GPU front-end with automatic fan-out.

How to help

Tested another game or device? Open an issue with the title ID, how far it gets, fps and files/_kyty.txt.
