Availability

• macOS 0.5.0 is available for Apple Silicon and Intel.
• Windows 0.5.0 has been submitted to Microsoft Store and is awaiting certification. The existing Store version remains available; the Windows changes below will arrive with the approved update.

Windows desktop and Store updates

• Refine Windows navigation, title bars and chat layout, including alignment with classic scrollbars.
• Surface Microsoft Store updates through manual checks and the existing update indicator, with a direct handoff to the Store.
• Add transparent Windows icon variants and isolate locally built Pudding Dev from installed release data.

Remote access

• Connect an explicitly enabled desktop over the local network or a self-hosted relay with one-use authorization codes and revocable devices.
• Share conversations and supported workspace views with the remote browser while keeping native-only operations on the desktop.

Studio and conversations

• Improve document and table page controls, content search, and the Discuss this workflow.
• Improve AI request session management, project creation, plugin controls and pending-question notifications across conversations.

Upgrade notes

• This version upgrades the local database from v30 to v32 and creates a migration backup. Older versions cannot open the upgraded database; restore a matching backup before downgrading.
• Windows is distributed and updated by Microsoft Store. Mac uses the existing signed update channel.
• macOS requires 14 or later on Apple Silicon, or 15.5 or later on Intel. Windows Computer Use remains unavailable.
