What's New
Hippius keeps getting better. This update builds on the new look from the last release with a couple of handy new ways to share and organize your files, plus some smoothing-out under the hood.
Share Files Right From Finder (macOS)
No need to open Hippius first. Just right‑click any file in Finder and share it with a Hippius link. Hippius steps in to let you choose whether the link is public, shows you the progress as your link gets ready, and then hands it over for you to copy.
Your Empty Folders Now Stick Around
Empty folders finally show up in your Drive and sync across all your devices. Set up folders to organize things ahead of time and they'll be right there waiting, no files required.
A Quicker Way to Your Share Links
The link badge on a shared file now takes you straight to your Shared Links, where you can copy, refresh, or revoke them, instead of opening the file.
A Heads‑Up When You're Offline
Hippius now shows a banner the moment your connection drops, so you always know why things have paused, and it clears itself as soon as you're back online.
Reliability Improvements
Cleaner Startup Syncs
Hippius now skips hidden system files when it checks what needs syncing at launch, so your syncs start clean and aren't tripped up by files you never see.
Steadier Folder Deletes
Deleting a large folder is now more dependable. Hippius confirms it's actually gone instead of occasionally showing a false "couldn't delete" message.
