CellPresenter v0.7.0
What's new
- Video backgrounds: drop an MP4, WebM or MOV (up to 1 GB) into the Media panel and use it like a picture. Put it on screen now, or cue it on a slide or section. Displays loop it silently; the console's live preview plays, and thumbnails stay on a still frame.
- Linux: the AppImage no longer crashes on startup on newer distributions (Fedora 44 and other machines whose graphics drivers are newer than Ubuntu 22.04's). It now uses your system's Wayland libraries. If an earlier 0.7.0 AppImage aborted as it opened, download this one.
If you're on v0.6.x, the console offers this update in its top bar.

CellPresenter v0.6.0
What's new
- Each setlist song in its own order: select a song in the setlist and press Edit order in the Slides panel. Each play of a section is its own chip: drag to reorder, × to remove, + to add a section again. The library song keeps its order; live slides and every chords view follow the setlist's order.
- Notes: a note on each setlist item ("key change after chorus 2"), shown in the new Notes panel for the selected or on-air item, with the next item's note below.
- Song editor: "Slides: As written" (only blank lines break) or every N lines, plus Split and Join on each preview slide; repeats show as Bridge ×4.
- First-run guide for new users; ? in the header brings it back.
- Roomier Edit page on laptops, tidier setlist rows, and the phone remote's section buttons wrap instead of scrolling.
- Accessibility: readable section labels in chord sheets, focus outlines everywhere, better labels for screen readers.
- Imports from Ultimate Guitar turn HTML codes (like
’) back into characters.
If you're on v0.5.x, the console offers this update in its top bar.
