What's new

  • Updates install themselves. New versions now download, replace the app, and relaunch on their own — no more quitting, dragging to Applications, and reopening. (This takes effect for updates from 0.2.4 onward, so this one still needs the manual drag.)
  • Menu-bar icons. The menu-bar actions now carry SF Symbol icons alongside the profile ticks.

Install (unsigned app)

Hosts Switchr uses no Apple Developer Program, so macOS blocks it on first launch:

  1. Double-click Hosts Switchr; when macOS says it "can't verify the developer," click Done (not "Move to Trash").
  2. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to Security, and click Open Anyway next to Hosts Switchr.
  3. Authenticate and click Open. macOS only asks once.

Requires macOS 26 (Tahoe) or later · Apple Silicon.
