Omatrack v1.8.3
Offline telemetry models included
Omatrack 1.8.3 includes the proven value reader, lightweight gauge detector, and larger AiM-specific detector, with checksum-verified contracts and upstream notices. No model download or account is required to use the shipped bundle.
- Discover → Confirm → Extract: gauges are annotated while video plays; review the setup, confirm it, then explicitly start extraction.
- The larger detector is used only when the current image independently matches the reviewed 1080p orange-AiM layout. Other layouts and large-model failures use the lightweight detector. Routing is not based on a filename or extension.
- Reviewed AiM profile crops remain available alongside experimental detections. Saved per-file/extension setups require fresh validation; user edits and disabled selections survive rediscovery.
- Cache identity tracks the actual confirmed reading configuration, not changing unselected proposals. Cold reopen and partial/complete cache reuse are covered by tests.
- A read-only
--check-model-bundle --require-bundled-runtimecommand verifies the installed assets and actual packaged ONNX Runtime. Release archives are checked using their own packaged executable.
Supported scope
Learned detections remain experimental proposals, not approval to read arbitrary crops. The reviewed reader extracts gear, displayed stint counter, brake visible fill and throttle visible fill. It does not invent physical brake pressure, GPS, authoritative lap classification or values for unsupported widgets. Native telemetry takes priority; original recordings remain unchanged. Image inference is local and does not upload footage or telemetry.
The models are pinned to the immutable model bundle. The larger detector is not a global replacement because of its VBOX tradeoff and higher CPU cost. Framing-reader candidates that failed quality gates are not included. See the bundled notices for licensing scope; no new license or footage-redistribution grant is implied.
Updating
Portable Linux AppImages, Windows Velopack installs and macOS apps can update from the header after verifying SHA256SUMS.txt. Windows installs per-user without UAC and applies updates through Update.exe.
Downloads are unsigned development builds. The macOS image is ad-hoc signed, not Apple-notarized.
