Highlights

  • dArkOS support (R36S and friends): display works (kmsdrm via system SDL), deletions and metadata writes work, and the games list now refreshes automatically on exit -- no reboot, no 90-second freeze, no hang. The exit refresh restarts the EmulationStation service safely after the app has released the display.

Details

  • ArkOS-family exit refresh runs as a systemd transient unit outside the ES cgroup, with a watchdog that force-completes a stalled stop in ~5s instead of systemd's 90s default timeout.
  • Metadata installer now restarts ES on ArkOS-family (no reloadgames API there), so Pocket Curator's icon/description/video appear.
  • Cleaner exit on ArkOS-family: console reset before the "Refreshing your games list..." message, and stray Killed process notices silenced.
  • ROCKNIX and Knulli behavior unchanged.
