Rich text editing for Markdown files

Lets you type and format Markdown files directly where they're drawn, instead of only previewing them read-only.

How to use it:

1. Open a .md file — it opens in RICH TEXT mode
2. Use the header toggle to switch between RICH TEXT and SOURCE
3. Tap into a paragraph, heading or list item and type; Enter starts a new block, Shift+Enter a new line
4. Select text and use the B, I, </> or LINK buttons, or Cmd/Ctrl+B, I, E, K
5. Save as usual with Cmd/Ctrl+S or the Save button
6. Tables, HTML, quotes, nested/task lists and a few other block types stay read-only with a lock icon; tap it to jump to that line in Source

Other changes

• Fixed: the mouse wheel could stop scrolling a terminal (for example Claude Code running in a tmux pane) after a tab before it was closed or moved; PageUp still worked, but the wheel sent nothing until the terminal was closed and reopened

What's new: Pick Your Agent's Effort, Smarter Chat Sessions

Effort picker for chat

Lets you choose how much effort Claude puts into a chat session, from Default up to max.

How to use it:

1. Open a chat tab
2. Next to the model chip, tap "Effort ▾"
3. Pick Default, low, medium, high, xhigh or max
4. On a new chat, the first message starts with that effort level
5. On this chat's own Claude, the level changes right away, no restart needed
6. On a session watched live in a tmux pane, the pick types /effort into it

Other changes

• Fixed: chat no longer tries to resume a background session before it has started, which used to end the chat with "Claude is no longer running on this host"
• Fixed: a background session without a process id yet is no longer wrongly resumed; chat now waits for it or holds the message until it can watch the session
• Fixed: messages no longer stay stuck on "Queued" just because a background shell keeps running after the turn is done
• Fixed: chat never types your message into a session's input line if someone left an unsent draft there, so the two don't get mixed together

Lets you save a file in the code editor by pressing Ctrl+S on an Android device with a hardware keyboard, instead of only tapping Save.

How to use it:

1. Open a file from the files drawer on an Android tablet or phone with a hardware keyboard
2. Edit the file
3. Press Ctrl+S to save
4. In a terminal tab, Ctrl+S still works as a normal terminal shortcut

• Fixed the selected tab's close (✕) button being pushed off-screen or hidden behind the "+" button on narrow phone screens when the tab had a long name
• The selected tab now scrolls back into view if its name changes after it was already selected, not just when you first select it

Save files with ⌘S / Ctrl+S

Save the file you're editing with a keyboard shortcut, from anywhere on the editor page.

How to use it:

1. Open a file from the files drawer and start editing
2. Press ⌘S on macOS, or Ctrl+S on Linux and Windows
3. Works from the text, the find bar, a toolbar button, or a Markdown file's preview
4. On iPad with a hardware keyboard, use ⌘S the same way
5. On Android hardware keyboards, use the Save button instead for now

• Fixed: a watched chat could get stuck showing "Working…" if a background listing hung
• Fixed: the context usage popup could show partly off the left edge of the screen on some phones

Lets you download an entire folder from the server to your device in one step.

How to use it:

1. Open the Files drawer.
2. Select a folder.
3. Tap download to save it locally.

Pick the model of a session you're watching

Lets you choose which Claude model a live session uses, straight from chat.

How to use it:

1. Tap the model chip (e.g. "Opus 5.5 ▾") on a session you're watching live.
2. Pick a model from the list; the session switches from its next reply.
3. On a narrow screen, open ⋮ → "Sessions on this host" to see the list.
4. On a wide screen, use « to collapse the sessions list and » to bring it back.

Other changes

• Fixed: /compact is now shown as a tappable "Conversation compacted ▸" marker instead of a fake user message.
• Fixed: the context usage ring recounts correctly after a /compact instead of keeping a stale number.
• Fixed: pictures sent in chat now reach Claude as pictures again, instead of as plain text.
• Fixed: two pictures with the same name in one chat message no longer overwrite each other.
• Chat's sessions header is tidier, with the sidebar toggle moved into the ⋮ menu on narrow screens.

Answer a watched session's questions from Chat

Lets you answer a question Claude Code asks inside a session you're only watching (a background session or Claude running in a tmux pane), straight from the chat, instead of attaching to that session yourself.

How to use it:

1. Open Chat on a session you're watching (a background session or Claude in a tmux pane)
2. When Claude asks a question, it now shows up as an answerable card in the chat instead of a read-only one
3. Pick your choice, select multiple options, or type free text, then send it
4. Jeansh types your answer into that session for you
5. If it can't deliver the answer safely, the card and a toast say "Not answered: …" and tell you why, instead of pretending it worked

Toggle Settings with Cmd/Ctrl+,

Lets you jump into Settings and straight back to where you were, without losing your place.

How to use it:

1. On macOS press Cmd+,
2. On Linux or Windows press Ctrl+,
3. Press it again while Settings is open to return to the page you came from, with its state kept (a terminal tab keeps its scrollback)
4. Works the same whether you opened Settings with the shortcut or by tapping the ⚙ icon

Other changes

• Fixed: on macOS, reconnecting to a server no longer brings back the keychain access prompt
• Fixed: tapping a pane in a tmux tab now checks and corrects its mouse scroll mode, so scrolling reaches Claude Code more reliably

What's new in 1.0.111

Chat messages wait for the connection, and are never lost

When the connection to a host drops, a message you send in a chat now waits ("Waiting for the connection.") instead of failing.
How to use:

1. Send as usual. If the connection is down, the bubble says it's waiting.
2. When the network is back, tap the cable icon (Reconnect) on the chat tab's own chip. Long-press the chip if you want "Close tab" instead.
3. The message goes out once, with no Retry needed.
   If the session ended while you were away (for example the host restarted), the bubble stays with "The session ended before this was sent." Tap Retry to send it into the continued session, or Remove.

Fixes

• Chat says what went wrong instead of failing silently. Sharing into a chat that is only watching a session is refused before anything uploads, and two files with the same name no longer overwrite each other (the path gets a number in front).
• Keys you type the moment a tab opens reach the shell once and in order, or Jeansh tells you they were lost.
• Pasting a picture or several lines into a tmux pane works after a reattach.

Perbaikan

• Chat menjelaskan apa yang salah, tidak gagal diam-diam. Share ke chat yang hanya mengikuti session ditolak sebelum upload, dan dua file bernama sama tidak lagi saling menimpa (path-nya diberi angka di depan).
• Ketikan saat tab baru terbuka sampai ke shell sekali dan berurutan, atau Jeansh memberi tahu bahwa ketikan itu hilang.

What's new in 1.0.110

Send yourself a notification from any host: jeansh notify

How to use: in a Jeansh terminal tab on a host, run
jeansh notify "Build done" "all tests passed"
and the notification arrives on your phone. Use it at the end of long jobs, e.g. make && jeansh notify "make" "finished".
The push key is now kept in a private file on the host instead of the shell environment, so an ssh onward from the tab no longer carries it. If a script of yours used $LC_SSHBOX_KEY, switch it to jeansh notify, or read the key with LC_SSHBOX_KEY=$(cat ~/.config/jeansh/notify-key).

jeansh <file> is more dependable

How to use: in a Jeansh terminal tab, run jeansh notes.md (up to 5 files at once) to open files from the host in Jeansh. With more than 5 it says how many weren't opened. Problems while setting it up now show as a toast that stays long enough to read.

Fixes

• Fewer crash reports from automated test devices, and fewer false "app hanging" reports on macOS.

Kunci push sekarang disimpan di file privat di host, bukan di environment shell, jadi tidak ikut terbawa saat kamu ssh lanjut dari tab itu. Kalau ada script-mu yang memakai $LC_SSHBOX_KEY, ganti dengan jeansh notify, atau baca kuncinya dengan LC_SSHBOX_KEY=$(cat ~/.config/jeansh/notify-key).

jeansh <file> lebih andal

Cara pakai: di tab terminal Jeansh, jalankan jeansh catatan.md (sampai 5 file sekaligus) untuk membuka file dari host di Jeansh. Kalau lebih dari 5, terminal memberi tahu berapa yang tidak dibuka. Masalah saat penyiapan sekarang tampil sebagai toast yang cukup lama untuk dibaca.

Perbaikan

• Lebih sedikit laporan crash dari perangkat test otomatis, dan lebih sedikit laporan "app hanging" palsu di macOS.
