Influx 2.4.5 beta 1

Task checkboxes now stay beside their text in linked mentions. Clicking the Linked mentions heading collapses the full results area, including note titles, while keeping the heading and toolbar visible. Click again to restore the previous card states. The chevron beside each note turns right when collapsed and down when expanded, with the native animation. Note titles and preview links open with their source-note context, and title formatting keeps literal underscores intact.

This beta includes the earlier local navigation, backlink cache, refresh, and editor-widget fixes that had not been released.

Other fixes:

• Match Markdown spacing between editing and reading views, keep checkbox states in snapshots, and contain wide excerpts.
• Handle stale link positions and invalid custom titles without losing valid mentions.
• Keep task context for plus-sign and alternative numbered lists.
• Keep collapsed cards closed on refresh and stop layout cleanup from removing connected popout previews.

Validation:

• 309 automated tests pass; production TypeScript build and bundle syntax checks pass.
• 64 isolated layout checks pass using the Plugins Testing example and Obsidian 1.14.1 styles, covering both layouts and viewing modes, light and dark themes, two font sizes, narrow cards, nested tasks, code, and tables.
• Four interaction checks pass across both layouts and viewing modes, including full-section height reduction, hidden titles, saved card states, and the native chevron animation.
• No Obsidian app controls were used. Installation was limited to Plugins Testing.

The required Obsidian files are attached separately: main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css.

Influx 2.4.4

Linked mention boxes now have more room around their content: 12px of padding above and below, 16px on both sides, and a small gap between the title and excerpt.

The padded content fits within its border in both layout variants and reading and editing views. Spacing around the Linked mentions section stays the same.

Validation: 217 tests pass, the production build succeeds, and local browser previews were checked with the Things theme at desktop and narrow widths.

Install using the attached influx-2.4.4.zip, or use main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css for a manual update.

Reliability release.

• Restores Influx in desktop notes containing Markdown tables or escaped pipe characters in links.
• Keeps the mobile table-editing safeguard limited to the active table.
• Makes Backlink Cache opt-in, with a native Obsidian fallback when its result is empty or unavailable.
• Adds an option to show Influx even when no linked mentions are found.

• Editor stability with tables — decoration computation is suppressed while the document contains tables or the cursor is inside one, preventing misplaced widgets.
