Influx 2.4.0

This release incorporates fixes for backlinks rendering inside markdown table cells, contributed by @rudironsoni.

Fixes by rudironsoni

  • No more influx widgets inside table cells — Influx no longer renders its backlink excerpts inside markdown table cells in reading mode (shouldRenderInfluxForMarkdownElement guard).
  • Table-aware widget placement in live preview — the Influx widget now anchors after any leading table (or a table directly following a heading) instead of landing inside it (findInfluxWidgetPosition).
  • Editor stability with tables — decoration computation is suppressed while the document contains tables or the cursor is inside one, preventing misplaced widgets.

Also includes everything from 2.4.0-beta.1

  • Backlink cache integration and reduced background work/memory use
  • Preview refresh lifecycle fixes and stabilized editor widget placement

Installation

Download main.js, styles.css, and manifest.json into <vault>/.obsidian/plugins/influx/ and reload Obsidian.
