During v19.0 testing I have just managed to completely destroy my networking setup while testing the Webmin Network config UI. TBH I have never tested network config changes via Webmin as thoroughly as I have today and haven't compared against v18.x so I'm not sure if this is new or has always been like that?
Regardless that's a pretty serious issue/bug/risk for our users and far out weighs the potential benefit that the module provides.
As a workaround for now we'll just not include the webmin-net package by default (the package/module that provides the Webmin network config).
It deserves further investigation but considering v19.0 is already ridiculously overdue, I'm just opening this issue for now...
Until this issue is resolved, network config can be modified via Confconsole or by manually editing /etc/network/interfaces directly.
