sdrtrunk-vce 0.6.2 Alpha 2

This alpha improves P25 channel tracking, Stats Server visibility, live Systems views, and receiver stability over Alpha 1.

Alpha software: Back up the portable database before upgrading. Configuration and statistics use explicit SQLite schema versions and are never migrated automatically during normal startup.

Highlights

  • Retained control-channel signal and decode-quality history
  • Non-exclusive control, alternate, data, and traffic channel tags
  • Talker aliases and conventional channel names in Systems and web views
  • Expanded Stats Server history, logging status, database health, and activity summaries
  • Separate P25 call and grant metrics so data grants do not inflate completed-call totals
  • Protocol-valid P25 channel spacing and wider announced control-channel rotation support
  • Protection against duplicate normalized site-channel keys stopping SQLite logging
  • Stale P25 band plans are cleared when the control channel switches
  • Corrected RSP waterfall FFT sample framing

Upgrade notes

This release uses P25 history schema v16. Stop SDRTrunk and back up the portable database before upgrading.

  • Existing schema v14 or v15 databases can use the external migrate-v14-or-v15-to-v16-channel-tags tool included in the package.
  • Alpha 1 used schema v13. When upgrading from Alpha 1, use the external Reset Stats Server schema tool. It preserves configuration, channels, aliases, streams, preferences, and vault data, but starts Stats Server history fresh.
  • Do not merge an extracted package into an existing installation. Replace the application/install directory and keep its sibling portable data directory.

Downloads

  • Windows: choose windows-x86_64 for standard Intel/AMD PCs or windows-aarch64 for Windows on ARM.
  • Linux: choose linux-x86_64 or linux-aarch64 for your CPU.
  • macOS: Apple-silicon users should normally choose macos-app-aarch64. Portable runtime archives are also provided for Apple silicon (osx-aarch64) and Intel Macs (osx-x86_64).

All packages include a curated Java 25 runtime. JMBE is not bundled; SDRTrunk can download the JMBE creator and compile the library from source on the user's machine.
