ao2-control-plane v0.1.12 public alpha

First public alpha release of ao2-control-plane, the read-only observer service for AO2 evidence and release readiness.

What is included

  • Read-only dashboard/API surfaces for AO2 release, readiness, support-bundle, and CI evidence.
  • Release-train readback observer for ao2.public-release-train-drill.v1 summaries.
  • CI evidence index covering bridge, ingest, release archive, and backup/restore evidence families.
  • Release archive smoke coverage across Ubuntu, macOS, and Windows in CI.

Trust boundary

  • This is a pre-release alpha, not a production-stable release.
  • The control plane is an observer only.
  • It does not approve releases, mutate AO2 artifacts, or require provider API keys.
  • Auth/token material must remain local and out of committed or release artifacts.

Known limits

  • The control plane is currently best treated as a local/operator dashboard.
  • Release acceptance remains owned by the governed evaluator/release process, not this service.
  • Public release asset automation is still being solidified.
