This Privacy Policy explains how DailyRituals handles information when you use the app.
DailyRituals is designed to work without an account. In the current version of the app, ritual data is stored locally on your device so the app, widget, and Live Activity can function.
We do not sell your data. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs in the current version of the app.
DailyRituals may process information that you enter or create in the app, including:
- Ritual titles
- Ritual notes
- Scheduled dates and times
- Ritual durations
- Template names and template contents
- Ritual completion state
- Deep or shallow ratings
- App preferences, such as whether auto-start is enabled
- Reminder settings for ritual alerts
This information is used only to provide the app’s core features, including scheduling, templates, reports, widgets, Live Activities, and local notifications.
DailyRituals uses the information above to:
- Show your rituals and templates inside the app
- Track active ritual sessions and completion state
- Generate monthly and calendar-based summaries
- Power the widget and Live Activity
- Schedule optional local notifications on your device
In the current version of DailyRituals:
- We do not require account creation
- We do not collect your ritual data on our own servers
- We do not sell personal information
- We do not share your ritual data with advertisers or data brokers
- We do not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs
DailyRituals uses Apple platform features such as notifications, widgets, and Live Activities. Those platform features are provided by Apple and may be subject to Apple’s own terms, policies, and device-level settings.
DailyRituals currently stores app data locally on your device. The app also uses shared local storage so its widget and Live Activity can display current information.
Because data is stored locally:
- Your ritual data stays on your device unless you choose to share it through your device or system tools
- Data may remain on your device until you edit it, delete it, or remove the app
- Device backups, if enabled by Apple system settings, may be handled under Apple’s own backup and privacy practices
DailyRituals can request permission to send local notifications for ritual start and ritual completion reminders.
Notifications are optional. You can turn them off at any time in iPhone Settings.
If you use the DailyRituals widget or Live Activity, the app may display current ritual information, schedule details, and recent completion state on your device screen.
This information is used only to provide those features on your device.
You can:
- Edit or delete ritual information inside the app
- Disable notifications in iPhone Settings
- Remove widgets from your Home Screen or Lock Screen
- Disable Live Activities in iPhone Settings, if supported on your device
- Contact us with privacy questions
DailyRituals is not intended for children under 13. In the current version of the app, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a remote account or server-based service. If you believe a child has provided sensitive information and you need assistance, contact us at privacy@YOURDOMAIN.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and publish the revised version at the privacy policy URL for DailyRituals.
