Is it possible to have notifications show up under a different Custom text instead of "HASS.Agent .NET10"?

Interesting question! That spot is reserved for the name of the app that sends the notification, and the app writes it again every time it starts. A small registry trick gets around that, so there will be a setting for a custom notification name: tick it, and the app puts your text there after each start 🙂 One thing to know: it's one name for everything the app shows until the next start, so it can't change from one notification to the next. But if you have several PCs, giving each its own name makes it easy to tell their notifications apart. |

It's in 10.9.3-beta.2: on the Capabilities page, under the notification style, tick Custom name and type the name you'd like. It's used on the app's own notification window too. One thing I found while testing: Windows keeps the name it has already read as long as the app still has notifications in the notification centre. So when you save a changed name, the app clears its own notifications from there, and the next one shows the new name. |
