Stability release:

  • Hook watchdog — the capture hotkey now survives sleep/wake, unlock, and Windows silently dropping low-level hooks (re-arms automatically)
  • Crash resilience — UI errors are logged to %APPDATA%\WinSnipper\crash.log instead of killing the app
  • Update notifications — daily check against GitHub releases, clickable tray balloon

Flavors as before: WinSnipper.exe (~0.25 MB, full screenshot flow) / WinSnipper-OCR.exe (~25 MB, adds Copy Text OCR). Requires .NET 8 Desktop Runtime.
