Miscellaneous
The silver penny (sp) is the only coin in popular usage. 1 Gold coin (gp) is equal to 100 silver coins.
100 coins fit in one inventory slot.
Convert each 1 gp from nearly any game based on the original roleplaying game to 1 sp.
Typically, doors in a dungeon are heavy.
Heavy doors require 1 Standard Turn to open and are likely to swing shut if not wedged open.
Doors have a 2 in 6 chance of being stuck. A stuck door will noisily open on a successful STR check. A failed check is just as noisy.
Doors may be held open or held closed by iron spikes or other wedges.
When aflame, take 1D6 damage per round.
Fire burns for 1D6+1 rounds or until extinguished.
X is the amount of damage just done by the fire. There is an X-in-6 chance to ignite each flammable item, like bombs or scrolls.
In a group, use the Stealth of the least stealthy character.
Check Stealth to move silently, hide, or pickpocket.
PCs can evaluate raw metals and they count directly as coins.
Thieves and other similarly - minded experts can do an Intelligence check to evaluate other standard-valued items (like gems.)
