Veld 3.2.5

Veld 3.2.5 improves mining computation efficiency for both solo and pool miners.

• Uses an eight-block ChaCha20 implementation when the CPU and operating system support AVX2, with SSE2 and scalar fallbacks for compatibility.
• Reduces exact integer square-root and instruction-dispatch overhead. Hash results remain identical to the existing VeldHash algorithm.
• Reuses private pool verifier memory while preserving initialization, proof validation and resource limits.
• Retains the portal pool controls and interface fixes from 3.2.4.

This is a performance update, with no new fork or changes to supply, rewards, fees, pool payment rules, validator bonds or custody authority. Both solo and pool miners can benefit. Actual speed depends on the CPU, worker count, memory and competing workloads; it does not guarantee a particular hashrate or block frequency.

Opted-in automatic updates are checked hourly while Veld Node is open. Signed updates preserve saved accounts and the selected mining mode. A deliberately stopped pool worker stays stopped.

Qualification covers native Windows and Linux hash equivalence against frozen full-size vectors, CPU fallbacks, integer boundaries, concurrent nonce assignment, native verifier restart/refusal behavior, worker scheduling, release source checks, package signatures, updater recovery and the desktop pool-resume exercise. Synthetic scheduling and reduced-dataset fault fixtures supplement the native tests; they are not presented as mainnet end-to-end evidence. Natural hourly installation and a fresh solo-wallet unlock/resume are separate observations.

All packaged binaries and corresponding source use commit 204590109e35f3e33b1e955847e581f1175ffed9 and tree 97ee8f22d31f9bb43f970e908b850ac7702a421a. Verify the signed checksum files before installing, and keep the complete extracted client folder together.

This maintenance release does not activate btcVELD custody or claim completion of the broader custody qualification.
