Offline Playback
Everything that lets QBZ keep playing music when the network is gone, or when you want to insist on local content, lives in Settings > Offline. The panel is split into two clearly-titled groups — Offline Mode and Offline Cache — plus a small Lyrics cache row.

QBZ polls reachability every 30 seconds in the background. The status row shows the current verdict as a tri-state — Online (green), No connection (amber), or Offline mode enabled (accent) — and Check now runs the probe immediately when you don't want to wait, useful right after re-connecting to Wi-Fi or VPN. If a captive portal is in the way, the row says so. The same indicator is mirrored in the player bar; clicking that yellow icon does the same thing.

A manual override that puts QBZ into offline mode regardless of real connectivity. Cached tracks remain playable; Qobuz-side features (search, browse, favorites sync) become unavailable until you turn it back off. This is the same state QBZ enters automatically when the network drops, but on demand. The toggle is persisted across restarts.
Opens the dedicated cache manager — see Offline Cache Management for the full feature set (per-album/per-track re-download and removal, bulk multi-select, the storage limit, sort, and the failed-only filter). The manager is also where you see the live track count and total size of the offline cache.
Opens the on-disk folder where offline tracks are stored, in your system file manager. The files there are encrypted CMAF segment bundles, not playable audio you can move around — the button is for inspection and troubleshooting, not for extracting content.
Labeled Clear all. It purges transient cached data (the automatic playback cache and other allowlisted cache-layout directories) to reclaim space. It deliberately keeps your downloaded (offline) albums — to remove those, use the Offline Cache Management view instead. Asks for confirmation first.
A separate row that clears the local synced-lyrics cache, showing how many entries it holds and how much space they use. Unrelated to the audio cache.
The offline cache is a temporary playback aid bound to your active Qobuz subscription on this device. QBZ removes cached content after 30 days if the subscription becomes invalid — the same policy the official Qobuz clients follow. Cached tracks stay encrypted on disk and are decrypted only inside QBZ at playback time; there is no export-to-FLAC path. See Offline Cache Management for the full posture.
