Berka v1.0.0

This release establishes four official families going forward:

  • Berka Mono Instrument
  • Berka Mono Closer
  • Berka Mono Focus
  • Berka Text

Numeral refresh

  • Baseless, angled 1
  • Open, non-crossing 4
  • Long-dotted 0
  • Bent 7 with a short upright stem
  • Consistent numeral construction across all four official families

Family and website cleanup

  • Remove Compact, SemiCondensed, Narrow, Control, and Retina builds.
  • Remove their source plans, TTF/WOFF2 artifacts, specimens, screenshots, installer choices, and website entries.
  • Rebuild all official TTF and WOFF2 files with Iosevka 34.6.1 and ttfautohint 1.8.4.
  • Regenerate the four retained website screenshots.
  • Update build scripts, installer tests, examples, documentation, and website copy for the four-family lineup.

Verification

  • ./scripts/test-install.sh
  • Shell syntax checks for build and install scripts
  • 38 TTF and 38 WOFF2 files validated across four families
  • 18 px HarfBuzz numeral renders reviewed for all four Regular styles
  • Local Chrome render verified the homepage and all four final WOFF2 families
  • Retired-family reference scan returned no matches
